11th Global Youth Peace Fest 2016
Celebrating 11 Years of Youth leadership & Nonviolence
September 28 - October 02, 2016, Chandigarh-Shimla, India
11th Global Youth Peace Fest (GYPF 2016) will take place from September 28th to October 2nd, 2016 in Chandigarh and Shimla, India.
For over a decade, we at Yuvsatta (Youth for Peace) realized the significance of promoting peace and transformative change through active involvement of young people. And initiated GYPF- a platform for young change makers and youth leaders from all around the world to join hands in order to make a difference. Last year at GYPF-2015, over 300 young people from 29 countries and more than 20,000 local youth had contributed ideas and actions for creating a peaceful world for a better tomorrow.
GYPF 2016 shall provide another opportunity to all international and local delegates to contribute towards a sustainability thinking and action. We find it essential to maximize the potential and diversified talent that young people have and unite them in order to actively be involved and play an important role in inspiring change.
