[The substance of education]

Take care of your body, your mind and your soul. For the body you should take exercise, indulge in recreation, have nutritious food and keep a good temper. For the mind you should read good books and ponder over the contents. For the soul you should cultivate purity by rising early, attentively taking part in a prayers and studying the Gita. Everyday say to yourself : 'I will think, speak and act truthfully. I will love everybody. I will control all the senses. I will not covet what belongs to another. I will hold nothing as my own but will dedicate everything to God.' Such thoughts as these will make for purity.
